Status: Occasional casual introduction.
Description: Large brown species with broad leaf-like forewings and plain brown hindwings.
Food: Considered a pest of bananas.
Habitat: Native range is West Indies but has been found in Britain on imported fruit.
Distribution: This species is not present in the National Biodiversity Network Database currently (October 2008).
